Let me introduce you to my new Furla bag! It arrived last week, a delayed birthday gift. I love this bag because of it's simplicity; it's the perfect classic black leather bag!

The skirt and t-shirt are new as well, both from Monki. I really like the vintage washing of the t-shirt and the two different fabrics of the skirt. Wat do you guys think?

Summertime

The weather in the Netherlands sucks this summer. Big time. But earlier this week summer finally stopped by! It lasted two days, but it was warm, the sun was shining and I wore this strapless summer dress with my new black wedges. 

I'm leaving to Hungary for Sziget festival today. I'm really excited about this! Next week I'll be back with lots of festival pictures. Enjoy your week! X

Fun in the sun

Even though it's still winter, it seems like the dark days have passed. It sure is cold, but it feels like a new era.

All my big exams are over and they went quite well, which was one hell of a victory.

On the  fashion and blog front, things have been going quite well too. All the recent features have been amazing and so have your messages, comments, compliments and questions. Thanks guys!

Last week I decided I really had to get myself some new clothes, since the last shopping I did was for my NYE outfit, way too long ago, and a friend of mine found me this cute dress. It instantly made me feel like an urban Alice in wonderland.

Anyway, I wore this outfit, including the new dress, to a party on saturday. Like this it seems really inappropriate for the time of year, way too cold, but for the party it was just fine!

There's more snow out there than I have ever seen. Amsterdam is one big mess and everything scheduled (public transport, school, appointments, parties) is completely deranged. On the bright side; the city is more beautiful than ever. I'm leaving all this tomorrow though, as I'm going to Paris for the weekend! So stay tuned,  because I'll be back next week with lots of new clothes and pictures from one of my favorite cities in the whole world!

Last week, Amsterdam had changed into a winter wonderland of snow and holiday spirit. By now the snow is long gone, but the spirit keeps on growing. I downloaded the Glee Christmas album (I LOVE Glee) and yesterday we trimmed our Christmas tree, it's gigantic and beautiful! But the best is yet to come: there's only one more week of school left before winter break starts!

This is going to be one hell of a Christmas. Next week I'm going to Paris and when I come back my best friend from London will be visiting Amsterdam. After that, there'll be lots of Christmas parties and NYE!

The best thing about Christmas is how it brings everyone home, right where they belong. That and the fact that everyone dresses up fabulously. I can't wait!

It's been way too long! I'm sorry for the lack of posts, I've just been so busy with school and desperate attempts to have some kind of a social life that I haven't been able to post anything these last two weeks. But I'm back!

These are my new wedges from New Look Limited Edition. I've been looking for black laced wedges for quite some time when I found these. They're just perfect and they seem to go with every outfit.

I love how the wedges add some edgyness to the clean, classic simplicity of the white blouse and black skirt.
