Me and my wedges

The weather in Amsterdam is driving me crazy. On monday, it was very, very hot, I spent the entire day at the beach in the sun. On tuesday I took these pictures in the pouring rain. I'm just saying.

Now, while I'm writing this, the sun is shining again, so let's just hope it stays that way!

Something else; great news for me; I passed all my exams!

I wore this outfit on tuesday, with my white blazer and my Y3 by Yohji Yamamoto wedges. I've had these shoes for almost two years now but I'm still in love with them, they're perfect for a long, warm, sunny summer in the city. So sun, please work with us, me and my wedges would be over the moon :)

Audrey is my idol

The weather has been amazing these last few days, summer is on its way! (Well except for today, today it's horribly cold, but let's just forget about that and think about yesterday.)

Yesterday I wore my new dress, that I bought partially because it instantly reminded me of my all time idol Audrey Hepburn. I love the wide fit and the simple, classic chic attitude of the dress.

Monki Madness

Yesterday I went to the Monki SS '11 party. Unfortunately I had to leave early, but I sure can say that their spring/summer collection is amazing! Oversized knitwear, lots of stripes, nude colors, pastels, black and white, lovely waistskirts, -pants and -shorts, perfect nude trenchcoats (I have to have one!) and really good black brogues. I want it all!

Fun in the sun

Even though it's still winter, it seems like the dark days have passed. It sure is cold, but it feels like a new era.

All my big exams are over and they went quite well, which was one hell of a victory.

On the  fashion and blog front, things have been going quite well too. All the recent features have been amazing and so have your messages, comments, compliments and questions. Thanks guys!

Last week I decided I really had to get myself some new clothes, since the last shopping I did was for my NYE outfit, way too long ago, and a friend of mine found me this cute dress. It instantly made me feel like an urban Alice in wonderland.

Anyway, I wore this outfit, including the new dress, to a party on saturday. Like this it seems really inappropriate for the time of year, way too cold, but for the party it was just fine!
