All about the silhouette

I love it when days turn out to be completely different than expected. Today has been like that.
First I ran into a friend of mine who lives in Germany, we just bumped into each other in a Dutch city we both don't live in. Then, out of the blue, I had some drinks with a friend who lives in Belgium and who also just happened to be in the neighbourhood. Such a weird day! But fun :)

I wore this outfit a few days ago, when I modelled at Magna Plaza for the last time. The pictures will be exposed in the window of the shopping centre, starting tomorrow!
I love all the light in these pictures, spring is definitely on its way!

Today is all about packing and running some last minute errands. Tomorrow's going to be the weirdest day ever, as I'm taking my theoretic driving test at nine o'clock in the morning and I'll have to go straight to the airport afterwards, then I'm off to London! I really, really hope I'll pass the test, because I've been studying for it like a mad woman. Luckily they give you the results right away.

I'm kind of looking forward to tomorrow. I kind of like flying alone, I love being at the airport. Tomorrow I'll spend my two hours of waiting for the plane to leave by searching for the perfect designer sunglasses (delayed birthday gift from daddy).
And then I'll be in London and I'll see my best friend again!!! I'm really, really looking forward to this trip, to see my best friend and also just to be in London, one of my favorite cities in the world. (I just cannot choose between New York, Paris and London. I'm visiting Paris the weekend before christmas by the way!)

Anyway, as you can see my new shoes arrived. Remember my new black New Look platform heels? Well, these are exactly the same, only in blue. I love, love, love them. I'm also wearing my favorite trenchcoat. It goes with anything, I love that about great basic items; they're the best investments!

Let the new season begin!

Today was my first real day of school, after some introductions and workshops last week.

Summer has gone by so quickly, I just don’t know where the time went.
Since I started studying at the conservatory last year, my life has been all about singing, dancing, acting and sleeping (if there was any time left). Summer brought back the friends, parties, days of absolutely nothing and holidays with sunshine and beautiful sunsets. My best friend, who lives in London, was staying in Amsterdam for the summer. Now he’s gone back to London to study at London College of Fashion (Follow him and his fabulous, amazing sense of style at joetheskewer.blogspot.com). I love him so much, he inspires me so much, he makes me a better person in so many ways that it is horrible not to have him around. I miss him like crazy and I also miss the partying and freewheeling of the summer. I really don’t think that I can live without these things for another year, so this year will have to be different. I’ll sing and dance a lot, but there’ll be evenings of friends, fun and cocktails. We all need to be distracted every once in a while, in order to be happy. For today, I've chosen powerdressing as the best way to cheer myself up. Let the new season begin!
